When merging tickets, all the posts belonging to the secondary ticket(s) are appended to the end of the primary ticket as a single bloc dated from the time of merging. When the primary and secondary tickets have had some time overlap, this can make the order of the overall thread very confusing, as posts the overall thread are not necessarily in chronological order.
Please order all posts to merged tickets by chronological order of time posted, rather than by time merged. At the very least, this should be an option.
