Anything new about this? Would really love to have this implemented.

Have a nice day!

Adding my voice to this :)

Any news on this one? It would be so useful every day rather than having to type wordy explanations or attach files with screen shots.

Unfortunately it seems to be falling on deaf ears :(

Does anyone know if this feature works in Zendesk?

We've been using Freshdesk now for several months with 11 agents on the Garden plan and for the most part we love it, but the not being able to cut and paste into tickets is really problematic for us and unfortunately we may have to switch helpdesk systems.

We certainly are listening. :)

This is one of our top priority items. We have recently taken this up for development. I will let you guys know once we inch closer to a solution.

@Steve- Zendesk does not have this functionality, they don't have a rich text editor as yet.

HI Abishek,

Okay, I appreciate your response and will hang on a bit longer because our team is really enjoying all other aspects of your service.

Steve

Adding my voice to what many others have written on this thread.  Great product and service all round, but the lack of a copy/paste functionality in the mail editor is sorely missed.

I'll add my voice as well.  My team has indicated that this is one of their requirements for a successful system.

This has become an important feature and a priority for us too now that we have over 25 agents on the system!

Good afternoon Abishek,

Back for my Monthly check-in on our favorite feature.  A month ago you said it had begun it's development cycle.  Any news on what month it might make an appearance?

Thanks again!

I'd also like to do my monthly check in for this.  It seems to be one of the most requested features and yet no updates as to the progress.

We are still working on it. Don't have enough information for an ETA as yet. Sorry about that.

Happy New Year!  Are we likely to see this feature in 2015?  There are now so many image grabbing packages that capture an image to the clipboard that the lack of an ability to paste said images makes Freshdesk look somewhat dated

Any updates?  I think the majority of your customers are really desperate for this one.  What is holding it up so much?

Can we get an update as to an ETA on this please?  I am truly hoping you will implement this feature before any of your competitors do, because I fear you will lose a lot of users if this happens.  It is so painstaking to have to save a file and then insert it each time instead of a simple cut and paste.  It is the #1 complaint that my agents have about the helpdesk system.

Good news is that we are in the last stages of development. Once we are confident that it is ready for production, we will go ahead and release it. We will only support Chrome, IE11 and Firefox for now. Thanks for being patient all this while.

You now have the ability to paste clipboard images directly into the editor. Thank you for being patient all this while. This feature will work only in Chrome, Firefox and IE11.

I can confirm it works with Safari (8.0.3, latest version) under OSX, but it doesn't work with Chrome (41.0.2272.43 64bit, latest version).

Woo-hoo, thank you! @Jan I'm using 41.0.2272.43 x64 and it works fine.

Works great!!

Thanks so much!!  It's going to make things so much easier for us now.  Really appreciate it.
