This is terrific news.  Thanks again for helping push this item through.  Now I'll have to find a new feature to get behind.  :)

@Campbell: I'm using OSX Yosomite 10.10.2 with the latest version of Chrome. Pasting works in this forum, but not in a ticket (when pressing CMD + V, it removes a line). I don't have extensions active in Chrome.

Please add support for Safari as well

Support for Safari please.


Should this feature work in Freshservice also? I cannot paste images into notes or replies using Chrome.

Can you raise a support ticket so that we can investigate this.


This works for me...  in Chrome.  I see this is still 'Planned." - has it already been done, or does this feature only work within certain browsers?


This function now no longer works for me.  Is everybody having the same problem?

Yes, we are seeing an issue with pasting an image again.  It occurs when using the Snipping Tool or a Alt-PrtScr.  If I right-click on an existing image, copy, and then paste... that works fine.

Currently, we do have an issue in pasting images in the email responses, we're really sorry about that. But I'd like to tell you that we got our team working on a fix for this and we'll make sure we sort this out at the earliest possible. 


Please do bear with us until then, we'll keep you posted on any updates. 




No way here with Chrome. Any idea?

Any update on this issue? We need to be able to paste screen shots (images) into the body of email sent from the FD interface to clients.

This is still not working in Safari on macOS but working in Chrome. Please make sure this issue is prioritized since this is one of the most used features when replying to customers. Saving each file and importing it via 3-4 mouse clicks is not efficient!

Hi Guys, Any progress fixing this issue? Specially for Freshdesk I am using Opera while my main browser is safari (with keychain etc).

@Erik: It should work with Safari and for that matter, most of the browser versions. Let me know in case if it doesn't work in your version .


@Rik: Just tested out Opera 45 on Windows 10 and seems to be working fine . Can you give it a try and let us know the version and OS in case if it doesn't work out for you?

Hi @Aravind!


Unfortunately it doesn't work still. I am on latest macOS Sierra with Safari 10.1.2 but nothing happens when I copy an image from my clipboard directly into the response editor.

I just tried it out with Safari 10.1 on macOS Sierra but tested it out with images from the mailbox / a public image . Can you shed more light on the image location from where you're trying to copy paste? Is it a local image on your system?
