Plain Text email format

We need it for pass to freshdesk

We have a big problem, we use quoting.

With html format is a problem, we can’t
broke reply of customers like this:

http://lipas.uwasa.fi/~ts/http/quote.html

We can reply only above text reply and not inside.
And we can't send email in plain text as our company policy

I see planned for almost an year

We would too. Or at least clean up the plain text alternative that gets sent out. It currently has encoded characters and no new lines.

I am having the same problem. The text/plain part of the e-mail is not readable. It is missing newlines.

You can choose to send the email replies in plain text format by using the remove formatting option available in the reply editor. This way, you can control the formatting of emails and helpful if you'd like to send plain text content to specific users.
