When filling out a PO form, often times the product being ordered may not be in the product catalog. Having a way to do that directly from the PO form with the ability to then choose that new product while creating the PO would be extremely helpful. Currently, when that is needed, you have to cancel out of creating the PO, edit the product catalog (assuming the user has that permission) and then return to creating the PO in order to reference the product in the PO.

It would be incredibly helpful to add new products directly from the PO form and select them immediately, rather than exiting, updating the product catalog, and restarting the PO process. This would streamline workflow and reduce disruptions, especially for users without catalog edit permissions.
Totally agree this really breaks the flow during PO creation. A quick “add new item” option directly in the PO form would save time and make the whole process much smoother.
