A see a big need of being more or less unrestricted in terms of reporting across the complete data model but currently I can generally not reach data that is more than one step away which is very limiting.
Example: Doing a report based on “Software” I can today do grouping/filters based on “Software->Used by->Name”. But I see a big value of going from “Software->Used by->Reporting Manager->Name” to be able to a report showing the managers what softwares are used by his/her staff.
There are many examples for when more than 2 levels would be needed to fulfill a analytics/reporting need that currently is unsupported based on my level of understanding of the system.
Any known plans for this?
