We are in BETA now and very happy with this feature. Only thing I noticed is that you cannot enable the option "can see all tickets from this company" anymore. Wit this option return, or isn't it possible anymore if you use multiple company's for one contact?

Janani-Can you please expand on: if you have purchased portal customisation separately, a custom drop down field could be used to associate ticket to a company. 


Also, is there a way to increase the amount from 20 to 100+?

Still waiting to be contacted to see if there could be a possible workaround. This is now more of an issue than before.

The work around they talk about is having a contact and assigning companies to them- fine. 

Problem is you want to limit the number of companies to 20. It seems like everything else is built for scale except its missing this key feature. As a business owner, I need to be able to submit a ticket for any one of my clients at any time.

@Janani - as others have mentioned above... can the restriction of 20 companies please be lifted ? This is a huge problem for us, as we have lots or resellers with over 20 end-users (we have some with 60+).


As Philip mentioned - can the limit be increased from 20 to 100 ?

I hadn't realised there was a limit of 20 companies to this feature. We're coming up on some of our key members of staff having 20 companies added, so we're going to hit the limit soon. We won't be able to remove any of the companies assigned, since the users will have submitted tickets under those companies (which is why the company is in the list).


We will also need the restriction raised, very soon.


Also just to clarify on someone else's comment above, since I didn't see anyone else mention it, it is still possible to switch on the "See all tickets from this company" option even when the user has multiple companies assigned.

Folks,


Sorry that this took a while to come. It is possible to switch the "See all tickets from the company" for a contact with multiple companies attribution. We had given the icon a tiny makeover and it's right there with the company option.

 The limit on the number of companies is still 20 . Will talk to the product and check our plans for increasing the number of companies for a contact.

We also need to link external contacts to more than 20 companies.

Hope this can be done soon.

I also ran into this roadblock today.


While a majority of our contacts are fine with the limit we do have some contacts that do have associations with 20+ companies.

Is there any ETA on this? I'm not sure I understand the reason behind the limitation. Is it software issue, require additional programming, etc?

Hello,


Thanks to David,Liz & Chris for chipping in for the discussion around this feature. Since this doesn't involve a lot of development, we're hoping to get this implemented in a few sprints. Will keep sharing any updates as and when I hear from the team. To my knowledge, the plan is to increase the limit of 20 companies to 100+ (Not sure of the exact number,though!)
