Right now, we can create ticket views and save them, but the specific columns used in those views do NOT save.  I brought this to support and they told me columns stick per browser session in cache, but do not save and display for everyone.  We depend heavily on custom columns.  The ability to save columns with ticket views not only seems logical, it would be highly beneficial and allow us to make full use of custom felids.

Would love to see this tied to views so that we can intelligently create filtered view with logical columns and have everything saved for all agents.

ex: Asset view for “Active Verizon Devices” would shows columns like “phone number” “imei” and “upgrade eligible date”  But same view for “Active Laptops” should have columns like “serial number” “harddrive” “memory”.  Right now we can only create the filter views.  Each agent has to manually choose the logical columns when they open a view.

Agents can now rearrange columns and save the views with the latest column arrangements. This also extends to the sorting preferences which also get preserved along with the view !!!

When will this be added to Freshservice? I know this idea is for Freshdesk but this would also be EXTREMELY useful to have in Freshservice. Can I ask, when these ideas are useful, why are they not added into all the different systems and only added to one?

I'm having an issue with this new feature. I hope this is the right place to report this bug.
After editing the view and saving it in the associated filter—which is visible to all agents—all other filters also adopt the same view.

I have to adjust all the views and save them to associated filters but after logging out, all changes are lost and the filters revert to the default view.

Thanks.

The idea is not live. Currently, if an agent visits a saved ticket view, and edits which columns show, the change applies to all views, instead of only the view the agent was view.

Freshservice, please mark this idea as “Open” again, as it is still not possible to save a ticket view’s columns with the ticket view, so all agents see the same thing.

Thanks!
