Save sort order with View

I would like to be able to save the sort order as part of a view. 


My agents have a customer view that shows the tickets they should be working on (called 'My Work'), and they are supposed to sort them in ascending order by due date and then pick the one off the top of the list.


The problem is they keep forgetting to sort the list if they have been using a different view so I would like to be able to set the 'My Work' view to always sort the tickets in the order that they should be working on them.

I'm assuming that this particular sort order (ascending order by due date) was not selected when the view was saved.


Try deleting the view and creating one while the list is sorted in this order. The order does get saved :)

Seems to be sporadic, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I'll keep an eye and log a support call if I see a pattern.

It is very tricky to do this, and I have many views and do not wish to delete and re add. I too am requesting that "editing" a view should include sort order.

I've just tested this and if you change the sort order then edit and save the filter the sort order is saved too.... Just FYI, it works well for me at least.
