Ok so once you've got a really granular reporting system in place and can export sexy looking (branded) graph & table based reports to PDF (which I'm sure will be ready by tomorrow right ;-), we need to look at Scheduled reports.

You've probably seen my request for client admins (something Webhelpdesk does really well), but if this is not going to happen how about simply  allowing us to setup scheduled reports. These reports are configured, scheduled, run and export to PDF, and finally are emailed to the recipient of choice

Our old system (home grown) sent out a report of helpdesk ticket statistics (pie graph and ticket count info) to our clients each week. Now that we've started with Freshdesk the issue comes up where we would really like to be able to:

1. Use the 'company report' as a default and allow some basic edits.

2. Determine when reports are scheduled to go out (10am Monday for instance)

3. Check box on the Customer edit page just like the 'See all company tickets' that is 'Get scheduled company activity report' which would allow us to determine who would get the report (some clients dont need/want one)

4. Bonus would be if we could set the frequency so we were able to set Monthly for one client and weekly for another.

We use clients with varying contracts so it would be very handy to have something like a scheduled timesheet report that gets generated at a set time each month for the Accounts department to collate billing times.

We have clients with fixed hour contracts that we need to report monthly how much time has been used and how much is billable.  We cannot rely on agents correctly setting billable and non-billable times as they will not be aware of usage.

It is a big ask to get automated calculations for billable and non-billable times based on custom fields, so the next best thing is a monthly report for all clients on how much time has been used and then it is a quicker spot for time needing billing.

Also having other reports on amount of tickets raised etc. to key staff both internally and externally as suggested above is also something that would reduce effort for the management teams.

Big "+1" for this - I now have two clients, shortly to become three, who want to be able to see their own reports. Scheduling a weekly summary in time for Service Delivery Review meetings would save me a lot of time.
