why are the options in the scheduler so limited?

A lot of our processes for HR, Payroll, etc. are on a bi-weekly basis, and it would be great to be able to schedule tickets to more easily align with our needs. Please implement this feature ASAP!

I agree, this could help us with SLA’s if we could target the date field that users enter in forms as well.  For example, onboarding is done based off of bi-weekly non payday.  It would be a nice feature.

The limitations in scheduling options might be due to various factors, including simplicity in design, common usage patterns, and prioritization of features. When designing a scheduler, developers often aim for a balance between offering enough flexibility to accommodate different scheduling needs and keeping the interface user-friendly and intuitive.

Adding options for biweekly or quarterly scheduling might introduce complexity to the interface and potentially confuse users who are accustomed to more straightforward scheduling frequencies. However, if there's a demand for such features, developers might consider implementing them in future updates based on user feedback and usage data.

In the meantime, if you need to schedule tasks or events on a biweekly or quarterly basis, you can often work around the limitations by manually setting up recurring events with the appropriate interval. It might require a bit more effort initially, but it can still be effective until more advanced scheduling options are available.

I understand that, but it’s tricky if you want something scheduled every other weekday, the monthly schedule only allows date option, or last day, no option for “working” days.

have upvoted;  definitely in favour of bi-weekly day options!
