WordPress powers over 25% of the web.  There are many WordPress consultants who use Freshdesk to support their customers, who manage their websites.  I am one such person.

If Freshdesk were to create a WordPress plugin that would allow customers to see/view their tickets right on their WordPress dashboard, this would be HUGE and increase the popularity of Freshdesk even more.

I do not believe any of your competitors have this functionality.

I do see SSO plugins for Wordpress, but we would like the ability to add an API that would allow customers to log into their dashboard of their own website and see their open/closed/pending tickets.

Thank you for reading!

Respectfully,

Agreed! This is one of my biggest hurdles currently using freshdesk and i might look into other options. Yes you have SSO and SAML but users still have to create 2 accunts (1 on my website and 1 on freshdesk) to check a ticket status. Additionally, embedding freshdesk as a iframe is difficult and okay but needs alot of work.

Thanks June for the suggestion. Rightly pointed out in the latest comment, the ability to add Freshdesk as an iframe widget on the wordpress site is something that a lot of users prefer. Having said that, you can also look at our API docs and use the endpoints to display the logged in user's ticket information on wordpress.

Cheers!
