+1I would like to inform a group of users of scheduled maintenance.
It would be great if we could create groups of contacts and send them email. Or maybe select an organization in stead of a contact, and sent to all members.
That way, if they reply, we automatically have them in Freshdesk.
+1It is often necessary to contact a group of customers when a major outage is ongoing, or to alert multiple customers on ticket status updates
+1I understand the system limitation (you can only have 1 requester per ticket), but it would be great to have maybe an app that would allow you to select contacts, insert your text and and send. That would create an outgoing email for each contact selected, creating a ticket for each one.

Did you get a chance to try the Proactive outreach feature in Freshdesk? Using this, you would be able to achieve use cases like informing about scheduled maintenance, product changes/updates by sending emails to a group of contacts. All you have to do is to import the CSV file containing the list of contacts to whom the email should be sent.
