Separate Contacts and Company when Searching

So, I tried to use the search function to find a company. At first, I thought I couldn't search for a company until I realized the results appeared at the bottom of the contact list. I find it a little weird how contacts and companies are thrown together. It seems disorganized. I think it would be nice to separate the Companies from the Contacts when searching. That or a filter in the contacts would help.
