At the moment are Freshdesk too slow to use it for many emails, you have to wait 1-2 seconds to run the command. If you get 50 mails daily will this be a lot of frustrating loading/ waiting time.

So a server in Europe would be very appreciated!

Hi Andreas

We've started monitoring the responses in each region and we will be improving the performance very soon.

Sorry, if there is any delay currently, but we will work on this and improve the response

anything to speed things up for both us and our clients is a goo thing!

I think it would be a very good move to have an EU based instance serving EU clients because of the EU data protection directive and not just because of the performace.

I agree with the Australian server!

Can anyone update on that? We are testing trial version from Poland and UK and it seems ok, but we have only couple of tickets for testing purposes.

This will be an great addition to Freshdesk, having a server based in Europe and a mixture with a CDN  provider will only speed up the access and performance.
Please make this priority :))

A server in Australia would indeed be nice! It's pretty slow compared to zendesk and the like.

The slowness seems to be getting worse...sometimes waiting up to 5 seconds for an action to complete!

Hi Guys

We've started working with another vendor to improve the speed and performance. We're doing some testing on this and done a trial implementation of CDN too, but the production system might take sometime, since this is huge data. We will be completing the migration in the next 1-2 months time or even earlier than that.

We're trying our best to work it out, but the hosting provider has restricted us to do the migration quickly, as this is sensitive data and doing this quick can cause some problems. Hence we're going slow, but please be assured, this is in works and will be available in the next 1-2 months time.

Vijay

Is this really a server location issue? Usually that only makes a difference in milliseconds. I'd guess it is more to do with how emails are placed in the queue, and how the client is notified. Perhaps it's a matter of putting the notification elsewhere in the UI?

 Any update?

Hi

We've implemented CDN via Cloudfront for faster response and better performance across different regions.

All assets will now be loaded via SSL and will be accessed via Cloudfront URL, so if you've any Firewall blocking certain sites, just ensure to unblock Static*.freshdesk.com/tourmyapp.com or even better an exception for *.freshdesk.com itself.

Hi,

I have been researching into Freshdesk (along side other support systems) for months now and I must compliment the improvements made in the space of my research. A major drawback I have regarding Freshdesk, is its Data Centers. As far as I am aware, Freshdesk does not currently have a Data Centre in the EU. Due to data protection policies, our customers data isn't allowed to be shared outside the EU. With this policy in place, we (as well as many other UK based companies) are unable to utilize Freshdesk. What is the possibility of Freshdesk having a Data Centre in the EU/UK anytime soon?

Regards,

Williams

I see from your roadmap:

that you have implemented a European server.

How do we go about having our account moved to this server?
