Would like a private note field in the right sidebar visible to agents when editing FreshService solutions articles. This has several applications.

  • Leave a note to the author when flagging for review. “Please update the LDAP integration section of this article”
  • Document changes made to the article. “1-31-2023: updated section on backing up to reflect use of Google Drive.”
  • Document future plans for the article. “This article to be deleted at the end of the 2022-2023 school year.”

Actually, the private note should be visible to agents viewing or editing the article, as long as they are on the agent side of FS and not the portal side...

Totally agree, we migrated to Freshservice Solutions from another knowledge system vendor and this is one of the pieces of functionality we lost in the process. We have over 2500+ articles and used private notes for Agents a ton, would love to see this get added to FS Solutions.

Having this idea would be very useful. Be able to hide certain sections for certain groups e.g. have a section visible to requesters and then the technical information in the same article available for agents to see only or even a certain agent group.

Finding the right words for Birthday Wishes for Friends can make any celebration feel more personal and meaningful. These notes help us express emotions we sometimes can’t say out loud. With the perfect message, every birthday becomes a moment to strengthen friendships.

I like how you highlight that thoughtful words can deepen friendships, much like Marathi birthday traditions that center on heartfelt blessings and shared memories. I recently adapted a traditional blessing for a family birthday and it felt sincere. When writing birthday wishes for sister, try adding one specific childhood memory to make the message truly personal and lasting.
