Sort ticket search results by Last Modified instead of relevance

Sorting be relevance ironically rarely ever gives me a relevant search result.

I usually am either looking for a ticket I worked on by name, ticket number, or by the user who submitted it, and this is all that I need for it be "relevant" to what I am searching for.

It would be nice if the Search results just did best match for this information sorted by most last modified.

Right now a search for "john" would give results in random date order, but it would be much more useful if it searched for all "john" matches and then sorted them by date order most recent to oldest.

AMEN!

Every...single...time...that I search in FreshDesk, I must change the “sort” for that one search from “relevance” to "last modified".  Why can’t there be a setting under each user to set his DEFAULT search sorting?  Options could include:

  • relevance
  • last modified
  • creation date

...so that way, the user ALWAYS gets his “default” sorting preference.

Could this Request for Enhancement please be implemented, FreshDesk, please?

Best,

It is simply the standard analytics export for “overall changes”. Nothing in any respect carried out for it, pick out and run, no filters, only some popular fields decided on. It suggests pending release repute and it’s been at entire to take the service
