Split Ticket as Dispatchr/Observer function

There are many conditions where it would be desirable for a particular action or response to a ticket to trigger a Split Ticket function. This would work splendidly within a Dispatchr and Observer rule.

@Petez would you mind describing your use case? There might be some workarounds available depending on your needs

There aren't any. I've looked. Use case is exactly as already described...forcing a Reply from a Requester that meets certain criteria to become a new a ticket instead of a response inside an old ticket.

Hi Petez,


Although a direct split of the response isn't available, we can still use the Observer + webhook option to create a new ticket when there is a reply made to an existing ticket. I'll drop you an email to understand your use case further.

Thanks, I will be experimenting with it to see if in fact it is a solution. It seems like it will be, but that is still unknown.
