It would be really helpful if you added the ability for us to specify a standard email signature that applies to all agents.


It would let the sys admin specify the exact company branding and disclaimer, plus add any seasonal signatures in a single click.

Currently we have to remind all agents to make the changes

Hi ​@RobCrossHM , currently, there is an undocumented workaround that might help with this. You can use a Liquid filter in the signature field. For example, I’ve used the placeholder ticket.product_description to insert the necessary part of the signature, including an image.

It’s not an ideal solution as it only works for responses, but it’s better than nothing for now.

I agree that a more streamlined way to manage standard email signatures for all agents would be very helpful! upvote 🙋

Good idea, but this would also be good if you can do it via agent group or role and have it forced to ensure uniformity.

Definitely would love the ability to standardize signatures. One way we have incorporated some standards is to put the standard (non agent specific) signature content in each of the email reply templates, and then audit agent replies for compliance once in awhile. Not the best approach but gets the job done (mostly lol)

My hope is that one day i’ll be able to centrally specify the same signature that we use in outlook, so the branding an any seasonal messages can be displayed, rather than asking all my agents to do it manually and hope they don’t mess it up.

Besides that I would also like to have different signatures depending on the language of the contact and depending on custom ticket fields.

Or what’s best practice in Freshdesk to make sure your signature is in the correct language and includes the correct website links related to that? We are an online shop with 13 different Store views in 9 different languages.
