Suggest solutions when the client writes the subject of the ticket

I'm just about to use the comment widget on my website, and I've seen that the search widget is separated from the ticket form.

I would like to know if there is a way to combine search input field and subject input field, so when the client starts typing the subject, related solutions would be suggested. That way, we avoid tickets created by those clients that didn't even seen the search input for solutions.

Is it possible something like that?

Thanks in advance. Sorry for possible grammar errors.

Thanks for reaching out to us Lisandro. We understand your concern about having the search and ticket form separately but when users type the subject field in the ticket form, Freshdesk will automatically search for articles based on the keywords in the subject and show relevant Knowledge Base articles.

Thanks,

Sajesh

Awesome! I hadn't notice that, awesome feature, that's what I needed.

Right now, I can see that the search isn't done in real time as the user types, but when the user goes out of Subject input (when the input loose focus). However, I've noticed that if I go back to the subject input and change it, then the search isn't done anymore. Just telling, don't know if that's a bug or the expected behaviour.

Anyway, the widget works perfect and as I needed. Thanks!

That's great, happy to know that the feature works the way you want. Regarding the search, when you change the subject line and move to the next field, the search results should be reloaded based on the new subject line. Can you check again and confirm whether it works.

Thanks,

Sajesh

Correct, the search will be triggered only when you move from the subject field. However, we are planning some improvements in the widget and we will surely note your inputs. Thanks.
