If I paste text into the message box to reply to an email through the ticket system, it would be nice if any formatting on that text was retained.
For example, if I paste in text from SQL Server Management Studio (or from Word), the text is formatted with colour. That colour is lost when the text is pasted, and has to be manually added back.
This is a big deal for us as well. We deal with larger code snippets submitted by customers and they find it annoying to have to reformat copied and pasted text. The syntax highlighting is less of an issue for us when it comes to user submitted content, although a solution similar to this topic but for users would also be great.

The editor specifically recognises the copy-paste action from Word and prompts the user an alert to choose either to clean the formatting or to preserve it. Here's a snapshot of the option:
