We have been using Uservoice and are migrating to Freshdesk, because we need more robust helpdesk/knowledge base tools.  In Uservoice, there are basically two tools: helpdesk (which includes knowledge base and ticketing system) and "feedback", which in Uservoice is a tool to solicit feature suggestions, let users vote on them, track their progress, etc.  Is there such a thing in Freshdesk?

We are super excited to know that you are migrating to Freshdesk. Regarding your requirement around Feedback tools, you can use our Forums which is ideal for feedback management. You can create a 'Feature Request' forum (similar to the one in which we are discussing), users can vote on the idea and the feature status (Planned, In Progress, Deferred, Implemented, Not Taken) can be marked to capture the progress. Kindly let us know your thoughts about it.

We are also considering moving from UV to Freshdesk. While the helpdesk features are superior, Forums is not ideal for feedback management from a product manager perspective. To really compete, product managers need a way to categorize, sort, or at a minimum export feature requests to manage them effectively. We would love to see more enhancements in this area.

Other features we love in UV is SmartVote within the widget and the ability to log an idea from widget --- as well as the ability to create an idea (aka Topic) directly from a ticket and have the two linked and automatically have the user subscribed to the topic.
