Love the new checklist feature. This will reduce the tasks on certain tickets. But can the checklist be more than just a line item? Could a note be added to each line item, so maybe if you hover over the line item or select it, you can see a note further explaining the item. I think some further explanation on a line item would be helpful, very similar to the note on a task but without all the other functions of a task.

A note, option to add URL’s. Also, if a checklist item is marked as mandatory, why can we close a ticket without completing that item? What is the purpose of marking a checklist item mandatory in that case??
Nice idea, adding notes to each checklist item would make things much clearer, especially for complex tickets. It reminds me of how apps like Tele Latino keep things simple but still give enough detail where needed.
Upvoted, I am currently trialling checklists as an alternative to using bullet points in the notes, as has been the practice of the team I have joined who are using Freshdesk. Being able to add line breaks to the individual checklist items would be a great step forward!
Also, not sure if I just never noticed this, but I think the ability to search the pre-filled checklists has now been added? Again, a game changer for us as we will have several checklists which we don’t want to be added to tickets through automation. 😀

+1Linking a URL or linking a solution article would be useful as the checklist item could have further instructions under the solution article.
Agree on it also only being tied to the fulfilment of the service item. It should also restrict the resolution of the ticket but have also lodged a feature request for this.
