I'm using the standard version of freshdesk at this moment. But I really want to upgrade to the mint version for all the expansions. I just can't find the option anywhere

Hello Tim,

The *Mint* experience is still under works and you'll not be able switch from an existing account as of now. We'll be rolling out soon for all accounts irrespective of the plans ( You will be able to switch back and forth between the two interfaces seamlessly).

If you're interested to try out the new interface, you can sign up for a new account here : freshdesk.com/signup

Cheers!

Tim,

I am with you. We need mint. We just switched from Zendesk and our BIGGEST complaint is the interface is super slow. I hope mint fixes that.I think it will.

Got this from Freshdesk when I sent them a email asking for Mint.

"At this point, the button which says ‘Switch to the new experience’ will not show up for the customers who are:

Using plugs/integrations etc.
Using adds on
Archived tickets
Phone customers
Whose account language is not English
Those who have created even one template

This will be available over the coming weeks. We will update this sheet when we have clearer dates."

I asked if it was faster then the current UI/UX (our main complaint about switching from Zendesk).

"the New Interface will be comparatively faster to navigate. Freshdesk Mint is an Ember-based platform that makes Freshdesk lighter and faster. Ember provides an architecture for future enhancements on our platform and follows an

API-first development approach to support the next generation of customer support experiences.

We'll slowly be adding all the existing features from current interface to Freshdesk Mint experience in the next few weeks."

I don't know what "sheet" he is talking about. But it seems as an English speaking American, I am SOL for Mint...lol! I guess we will have to wait.

Still no "mint" here....

Anyone else lucky enough?

Nope. Same problem here. Even I am stuck with the older version. Please provide us with the button to shift from basic to mint view.

Still... no Mint here.
Tested it with a testaccount. Love it!

But we use Dutch as the language and have some custom apps running (set a signature under all outgoing agent messages, product specific)

Hi all,

I spoke to support the other week and MINT is available now for customers who have not done the following:

Apps/Custom apps

Multiple languages/ Non english helpdesk language

Using add on
Archived tickets
Phone channel

If anyone has got the above in place the upgrade will be a little later for us as they need to work through these and ensure they still work once upgraded. No timescales have been provided but it appears they are working on it and should be coming soon.

Hope this helps

Folks,

There are quite a few integrations that are now available in MINT and few major ones would be released soon ( ~4 weeks ). The Phone channel in MINT corresponds to a Freshcaller account and accounts with the phone channel in Freshdesk will be migrated to Freshcaller.

MINT is now available in all languages supported by the old version except for Arabic and Hebrew.

If you're not using any custom apps, please drop a note here. We can check the feasibility and enable MINT experience for your helpdesk.

Cheers!

Please update our console and portals to Mint.  We have a main portal and sub-portals.

Regards, David.

Now I have a question:

Normally with activating the MINT version, the frontend (which customers can see) get a new design too.

But I still have the old ugly frontend. Could you activate the new frontend for me too?

I'm setting up freshdesk for a customer of mine in Finland, but I don't want to train them in the old system, before Mint is available (at least the most basic functions) in Finnish. Any rough timetable, or ETA?

@Tim: We generally don't enable MINT on the customer portal since the portal might have been customised by the brand already! It is enabled only on a request basis. It has been enabled now for your account :)

@Markus: The translations for Finnish and few other key languages are ready and we're hoping to push them to production either by 1st or 2nd week of April.

Cheers!

Hi,

Is there an up to date list of what is yet to be supported and therefore stopping us migrating to MINT and some ETA's line by line for these features/functions as this thread started 5 months ago with the words weeks for ETA's?

Thanks

Dan
