Workflow API calls are made only at runtime and are not saved!
An option to burn the content within the workflow.

I don’t understand, all operations are made at runtime.

Can you give us a usecase ?

It should be possible to avoid saving the details of a web request. Web Request cannot be used for certain challenges because the information is saved.

What do you mean with Saved ?

You can view the details of the request in the execution logs.
The request and the response are therefore saved. For certain web requests, this shouldn't actually be the case, as someone could later retrieve the content.

Kind of no logging option?
There are a webhook function in the action node, it’s not saved and you don’t get any output from it.

No, there isn't, and I would really like to have something like that. Specifically, I'd like to be able to decide for myself whether or not to create a log for each web request.

I'm familiar with webhooks, but I think having an additional option within the web request itself would be even better because it offers more control.

The diff between webhook action and a WR node is the WR have output that you can use in the workflow after the request. webhook is fire and forget.

So your idea to have some privacy function that you can enable, that will not log but you can still use the output
