We have some regular tasks that have to be performed across the IT estate.
Examples
- Check the waste toner containers in the printers and replace if needed - monthly
- Perform a colour calibration on the MFDs once a quarter
- Replace the batteries in UPS units every couple of year

Workflow Automator can be set to run a scheduled workflow against an asset record (for example) and send a reminder email, but I’d prefer if I could add an action to generate a new ticket or service request to do those jobs - to ensure they don’t get missed.
