It would make sense if you could create Workspace specific roles. This is due to when you create a Business Agent Workspace, they already do not have access to some features but when you create roles it shows you these modules. This is confusing and should be removed when creating Agent roles for these Workspaces.

Do you mean that there should be an option to create roles within a specific workspace itself at least for agent roles?

Correct. Not to assign, because that is already a thing but that when you create the roles - you say what Workspace it is assigned to. And it only shows you the modules that are available for that type of workspace e.g. Business Workspaces do not have access to the Change Module, so why are we creating roles where that option is available. It gets confusing and you should be able to create roles based on the workspace you are allocating those Agents to.

This way it only shows those roles when you select that Workspace and it should then categorise them in those Workspace for ease of administration. But then this would mean when you were assigning the roles, this would only appear if the Workspace selected was the one assigned to that role.

This way you could make assets also able to be granularly administrated e.g. if only Finance should update Cost Centre Codes, then you can select this in the Finance Workspace under Inventory / Assets that they are allowed to Create or Edit or Delete Cost Centre Codes. Not to make that asset type only available in the workspace but administration is done by that Workspace Admin / Agent only.
