We were big fans and users of the Xero integration with Freshdesk - has enabled us to streamline billing and invoicing. However with the recent upgrade to Mint - the Xero integration is no longer :(

Hello Troy,

Not to worry. It might not be available at the moment but it is just a matter of time that it becomes available.

Over the past few months, we have been adding integrations to the Mint interface. Keep an eye on our marketplace site for any new apps/updates.

Cheers!

Hi Aravind,

I'm hoping it's available soon as its a big inconvenience at present. Can we change from Mint back to the classic interface in the meantime?

Yes, you can. We'll see how quick we can get this option added to Mint.

Cheers!

Troy, click on the profile picture icon on the top right corner of your screen. You'll see an option to switch back to the classic interface.

Cheers!

Can you please refresh the screen and see if you're able to switch back?

Can you confirm when this will be in place? Our business chose your HelpDesk service on the basis of Integration with Xero and if this doesn't work in Mint (75 days away) then we will be in a world of pain.

Thanks

@Troy@Katie While we're working on making the app compatible with the Mint interface, we'd like to know if you have any suggestions to make it more powerful than the current version?

Cheers!

Aravind, honestly I think while you are working on making the app compatible with Mint, you should just focus on making it working and not attempting improvements.
Between this and the shocking Android app performance, neither of which Freshdesk appear able to fix, I'm about ready to walk away as I am now paying for features that no long work after this "upgrade"

@aravind making it work is key. I'm about to take some time off and now I'm stressing this key component is going to stop working whilst I'm away. In terms of improvements I can think of two things 1) Ability to add other items to an invoice. Ie if I sell hardware or software as part of a ticket at present I have to go back into the invoice in zero afterwards to add it. 2) not have to refresh the page between adding time to the ticket and creating the invoice.

@aravind. To be honest, like everyone else on this thread, I went with Freshdesk because of your integration with Xero. I have found this particular functionality to be extremely valuable. This has been an important app to minimise the time to create invoices for our customer service calls. I agree with all the comments above - its critical to make this work in Mint as is before considering any upgrades.

Also I have written to your support team separately about this several times and have received no response or confirmation about Freshdesk's position on whether you are planning to migrate this app over to Mint.

I think you need to provide us all a definitive position so we can make the right decision for our respective businesses before it impacts us.

Please confirm if you will (or will not) be covert the Xero app to Mint (and I hope that the answer is "you will")

Thanks

@Tom@Troy@Brett I'm really sorry for the inconvenience. We're working with one of our partners to make Xero integration compatible with Mint and you can expect this to be available soon (currently in development). I just thought of squeezing in a couple of enhancements since we're redoing the app for Mint but I'll save them for later :)

Cheers!

Any more updates on this, more specifically a time frame? we are currently talking about migrating away due to the removal of this feature.

@aravind. There are only 10 days to go until Freshdesk force everyone on to Mint. Are we seriously not going to have the Xero app resolved by then? Cutting it very fine. Please provide an update for all of us. Thanks

@Matthew@Brett We're working to get the app registered as a partner app in Xero. I'll be able to share more updates on the availability of the app in a day or two. Please bear with us.

Cheers!

@Aravind is there any updates to this? we need to finalise our decision to move on or stay based on this feature?

So.. 3 months later, the extended support period of the old interface is due to end again in a few weeks, and no updates on the xero integration??

It is unfortunate but we have already started migrating all our data, something i was really hoping to avoid as people are set in there ways using the current system, having to get everyone trained in a new system will be less then fun.

@aravind - looks like the current integration is now broken.. does this mean the new version that works with mint is now functional?
