Our custom "Other" mailbox (IMAP 993 / SMTP 465, password auth) shows "Re-authorize" and has been disconnected for about 7 weeks. Around 100 unread emails are waiting in the mailbox. We're on Freshdesk Pro. The mailbox is used for both incoming and outgoing email.

Before re-entering the password:

  1. Will Freshdesk import all unread emails received during the disconnection, or only new ones?
  2. Will "ticket created" automations (our acknowledgement auto-reply) run for those imported emails?
  3. Do replies to tickets that were closed in the meantime create new tickets?
  4. The reauthorization article says emails sent during the disconnection are resent automatically. Is there a way to review or cancel that queue first, since some replies are now outdated?
  5. Is there anything you recommend doing before re-entering the password (e.g. pausing automations), to avoid a flood of tickets and auto-replies?

Thanks!
