Hello everyone!

 

Is there a way to automatically assign the requestor of a ticket based on the currently logged in user? Our Freshdesk system is for internal use only so all requestors have a login to the portal.  Can we pre-populate the requestor field with the logged in user name?

Greetings from the Freshworks community!

 

To auto-populate the requester’s email address on the new ticket page, please navigate to Portal → Settings → allow only ‘logged in users’ to submit tickets on your portal. In this way, the email field would be greyed out and auto-filled based on the logged-in user’s email address.
