Hi @cgcts
Greetings!!
We cannot disable the popup box as it is integrated core into the product. However, the box disappears as soon as you move the cursor away from the ticket. If that is not happening, please clear your browser cache and cookies or try in Incognito window.
Feel free to drop a note here incase of further assistance :)
Cheers,
Barun
Ya, it doesn’t always disappear when I move to a different ticket, sometimes I have to click near the address bar to get it to disappear. I do a full browser clean every night when I shut it down so even first thing in the morning with an empty cache it sometimes happens. I’ll try the incogneto mode to see if it helps
Hi @cgcts,
Sure thing. We suspect that this might be an Environment/browser specific issue. Please have this checked in an Incognito window/different browser and let us know your observation.
This feature is incredibly annoying. Popup hardly ever goes away. I often get 2 or 3 that do not go away. I have cleared my cookies. I have tried different browsers. Only thing that clears them is refresh the page. please give us the option to disable.
Hello @mahendarsingh @Kajal Vats - can you share any update or workaround for @Kencredible ?
I have no workaround. All I can do is refresh the page.
I do have an auto refresh Chrome extension. Setup to refresh every 3 min. But that is to update my ticket queue to show the latest info.
Still not a fan of this annoying feature. I keep checking back to see if someone has found a fix. If it cannot be removed, then fix it please. It really would be a nice feature if it worked correctly.
Just to reiterate. I have tried Chrome, Edged, Brave and Opera browsers. I have cleared my cookies. (all time) I have tried it on a fresh user profile on all of the above browsers. About 8 times out of 10 the popup will not disappear. If I hover over another ticket that popup will stay on screen.
+1 on this being an annoying feature.
It does function and serve a useful function yes. Does it always disappear once the cursor is moved from the box? No it does not.
I believe if you move to quickly from the box to another window or application freshdesk seems to think the cursor is still on the ticket. To then fix this issue you need to place the cursor ontop of the ticket that it is displaying the info for and then slowly move the cursor off it.
Incredibly frustrating and a waste of time it blocks me from clicking other tickets or reading other tickets. I end up with 4 ticket boxes showing and I can either go one by one to slowly put the cursor over each or refresh the page. Browser doesn’t seem to affect it.
In my case it rarely closes. What makes it worse is you can’t open a ticket without clicking on the link.
My work flow is. I leave a list of “My Tickets and Unassigned Ticket” open on one tab. I have a screen refresh extension running to keep my main tab refreshed every 3 min. I like to glance at that tab to see if anything has changed. I (shift + control click) on a ticket to open in another tab. When I come back to my ticket tab the popup is still there even through the automated screen refresh. I have to manually refresh the screen to clear the pop-up. Auto refresh works great other wise.
IF YOU CAN’T REMOVE THIS FEATURE, PLEASE FIX IT!!
