How to edit snippets?

If you are referring to code snippets used for portal customization in Freshdesk, you can edit such snippets under Admin > Portals > Customize portal section. If this is not the case, kindly elaborate more on your usecase and requirements to help you accordingly.

Sorry, I meant the value for the placeholders. I would like to update the content that a placeholder displays and also create a new placeholder, if possible.

Unfortunately, we do not have the option to create new dynamic placeholders as such but you can definitely make use of the placeholders Freshdesk offers for your requirements. Article to get detailed insights on the same.
