I use only favicons on my Chrome bookmark bar. Currently I'm have bookmarks to three freshdesks subdomains and each show up w/ the freshdesk logo only. It would be great if each subdomain could display the logo that was assigned to that subdomain instead.
Allow for unique favicons for site subdomains

Did you check the Multiproducts -->> Portal Rebranding section. Here you may specify the Logo and Fav Icon for each of the Sub-domains.
(Also, I moved this to Tips and Tricks forums.)

Is anyone else having problems with the favicon uploaded in the re-branding section not showing up in Chrome? I've tried multiple files, and can't get any to work.
