Bug in PUT /api/v2/conversations/[id] ?

We frequently modify notes via the API.
(https://developer.freshdesk.com/api/#update_conversation)


This is much appreciated feature. However, we've discovered that each time this occurs on a Private note it inadvertently transforms into a Public note.


Is this a known issue?

Anything that unexpectedly makes a Private note Public is serious.
