Custom App visible in agent portal not in customer portal

I am developing an app as extension to ticket module. using the documentation, it show an effect in agent portal but does not show any change in customer portal.

Currently we do not support custom app for Customer portal. Could you please let us know the use case of the app?

Thanks for the feedback.


Following are the use cases:

1. I want to add one input in add ticket form for uploading file upto 1GB and need to upload that file on our virtual private server.

2. Need to create a new page with some data regarding customer information which customer can view.

3. One more page where customer can download some files provided by us and other information.

As Janani mentioned earlier, unfortunately apps are not supported in the customer portal yet.


Freshdesk does offer portal customization capabilities to support a customized experience on the customer portal. I am not certain if this will meet your needs. You can raise a request with support@freshdesk.com to have this checked out for you.
