Is there a way to set it so that new topics posted to our forums provide some sort of notification to an assigned group?  It seems like this should be a feature, but I can't find it.

We do have this in plans and I will make sure to drop in a word as soon as I have more updates!

Happy to report that this has been implemented - you can automatically convert topics to tickets when you setup your forums.
