Hi,

I'm having issues with my portal. I've setup "hjelp.serverhus.no" with the correct CNAME listing in DNS. But when using Chrome i get an error about the https protocol (this happens even if i try using just http:// - i don't know why it rewrites).

My customers also are having issues with it. If i use Internet Explorer it seems OK.

Chrome gives: NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

And I've had clients showing me various other error messages. The link used to all clients is also http://hjelp.serverhus.no/ (not https).

I've included two Firefox messages.

I am also getting this error message with Chrome on my machine only when using CNAME but works if I go direct to domain.freshdesk....

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from cname (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

Hi Michael,

You might get this error message if you do not have a custom SSL cert for the CNAME. Could you please write to support@freshdek.com with your account details? We'll help you in setting this up for your account.

Thanks,

Harish

We're glad that the portal is up and running on https, courtesy the custom domain SSL certificate. Looking forward to work with you soon !

Cheers!
