Is it possibly to open freshdesk help article via an API call in a native modal vs opening in a new with or iframe?

Helpscout has this feature and I'm just wonder if it's possible.

Basically I want to help a link on my website, a user clicks it, and a modal opens with a particular help document in the modal. I only want the content though. No other data.

Can I pull this off with Freshdesk?
