Is it possible to view roadmap of all projects in one page?

The same question for release page.

Hi Tony,  Greetings from the Freshrelease team!

Currently, it is not possible to view Roadmap / Releases of All Projects in one view. Can you give us more information about your requirement? We will check if any workaround can be provided.

You can also mails us at  support oat] freshrelease adot] com

The requirment is to have a global view of all projects without to have to switch on each one.

Hi Tony,

One Roadmap view for all Project items, is not in our immediate roadmap. However, we will consider this based on our customer asks and feedback.

Currently, we are working on another item to remember the last visited module for an user - we assume this could serve as a workaround for sometimes (If you switch the Project from the Roadmap of another project, you will be in the Roadmap module of the switched project). We will keep you posted, when this is available.

thanks,

I as well think this will be a great feature as we like transparency across our teams, especially for our IT team leads and management. An easy to access overview will be advantageous.

Hi Tony / Michael

trying to understand the use-case better - to check if any workaround is possible

a) do you want to project this in a common TV display or access this from inside the Freshrelease app any time?
b) do you prefer to see all project cards in One Roadmap or will it be ok to display multiple roadmaps in a single page (in case you want to display this in a TV / common dashboard )

Due to few technical limitations (as how we scope the roadmap records now) - we couldn't address this immediately.
However, your inputs will help us to analyse possible workaround , if any.

the feature in other software is called a portfolio

ie a roll-up of multiple projects into a timeline across all development

A vote from me on this

Hi,

All Projects Roadmap / Portfolio view, is one of the features we want to implement in the future.  Since the current version of the application restricts scoping of work items within the current Project only, we will not be able to implement this immediately, in Freshrelease.  We will surely prioritise this at the earliest possible.

Thank you all for your suggestions.

Thanks,

Having an item only available to one project is limiting,  This is a very "jira" approach.

Others like Assana etc allow the same item to appear in multiple projects allowing the same item to be surfaced to different teams

Today in Freshrelease, we can link items from any project in the Dependencies section of a work item.

//allow the same item to appear in multiple projects
in the initial days, we had an idea to implement Delegation across projects (say a product's work item assigned to frameworks team) - but dropped it due to other high priority plans.  In the future, when we reconsider this, will be glad to discuss the use-cases for better understanding.

my vote for this

working with multiple projects is hard

Need to be able to pull them together or at least jump between them easier

Hi Aaron Shipman,

If the count of projects for quick navigation is minimal, as a workaround you can bookmark the roadmap urls for each project

eg:
https://prathees.freshrelease.com/FD/roadmap
https://prathees.freshrelease.com/FR/roadmap

Hey everyone. As a first step to solve this problem, we have decided to soon allow filtering across multiple projects and create kanban boards on top of this. After this feature is shipped, teams will be able to filter "Epics" across projects and create a kanban board. This will allow you to get a glance of all the epics in the organisation. This is just one use case and more filters will be available. Follow this topic for update on this feature https://support.freshrelease.com/support/discussions/topics/50000000509
