i would like my users to register but not be able to do anything until i approve them 

is this possible ?



@Phil- Are you looking for an approval workflow to verify which user should access the customer portal and who should not?

The best way to handle this right now would be to restrict/toggle OFF the user activation email and only send it to the desired contacts from the respective contact profile, as and when need be.
