Software Contracts

 I am adding numerous Software Contracts as I want to be able to report on the license compliance per software entry.When adding software contracts you have a section called Item and Cost details, if you add multiple lines of items (different license products) will those items and quantities by picked up within analytics overview of  software reports, or would I have to add a software contract for every software item. I am asking this because we have a large Microsoft agreement with over 15 software items within it and I would like to group those items together within 1 contract instead of adding them individually and still be able to report and have visibility on the license quantities.

Resizing (and setting) Name Column

Fixing the Name column width would make the system far more user friendly.Each time I look at any table view I have to manually increase the width of the first Name column to view more than a few letters of text, even when there is plenty of empty space and few columns displayed.

Account name sync

Hello, how can I sync my Freshdesk Company contacts and Freshsales Account contacts?In Freshdesk, the contacts are tagged under the same company.However, in Freshsales, the contacts are not linked to that account/company. I have to manually assign each one. This takes a lot of time.Is there a way to automatically update the Account in Freshsales based on their Company in Freshdesk?Thanks

export contacts with a free account

Hello,I would like to know how to export my contact in an excel file ? I found another thread talking about it and saying I have to create a report, but I can’t.It seems I can only use predefined reports.

Create new Contact after payment is made

Really stuck on this one….I created a webform for customers to fill out right before they get to our stripe payment page so that we can auto create contacts in Freshsales. Great idea! Though I realized that they may move on to the payment page and then decide not to enter payment and close the window (if they change their mind of course). I really wanted to send an automated Thank You email as soon as a payment was made and at first was going to trigger a workflow tied to the webform (when contact is in webform product type then send email) something like that. Have no clue how to set this up after payment is made through stripe without bothering our developers because they are too busy with product to help with API.

grouping similar contact types together

Hi there!brand new the fresh sales and I am setting up my contacts to get some deals rolling. questions - is there a way to categories / group contacts together? Let’s say that each contact will be either one of the following customer types. AgentsBrokersMemberGuestExchange how can I designate the type - which hopefully I can then filter as needed. thank you!

Company Contact vs. Lead Contact

I am new to the platform and having an issue deciding how to enter Contacts for Accounts (existing customers) vs Contacts for new Leads (potential customers). If I want to enter another employee that works for my existing customer, do I really need to take them through a Lifecycle and mark them closed/won? It seems like a lot of extra work and will mess up my monthly reports. Any advice on how to quickly add a Contact to an existing Account without taking them through the Lifecycle? Thanks in advance!

Under what circumstances that we need to use Account (tag a Contact to an Account)

Hi all, We are exploring on FreshWorks CRM. I noticed there is Contacts and Accounts in FreshWorks. And we noticed we can just use Contacts, without needing to tagged to any Account.After created a Contact, I can add a Deal to this Contact, and subsequently moving the Deals all the way to Won status (Deal closed). P/S: Our business is B2C (Business to Consumer), our customers are individual consumers, so we interact directly with consumers instead of Companies. So I would like to understand, in such case, under what circumstances that we need to use an Account? (ie: To tagged a Contact to an Account). Any implications if we don’t create any Accounts at all?For eg, will it affect the default Analytics reports, etc Thank you.
