My understanding of the citation and grounding, more specifically the grounding, relates to extracting data from the training set rather than a general large language model. The citation part I guess would be to reflect the source data in the actual response. Both of these would be very useful when we are training on a specific and limited data set.

Hey ā€‹@RobCrossHM, Freddy AI Agent provides citations along with all responses that can be used asĀ references by users to identify sources and verify their reliability. Such anchoring of responses itself is what weā€™re calling as ā€˜groundingā€™.

I need excellent federated search first so all of this will work inside of my org walls :) Once we can access the source data from the source locations as opposed to maintaining in 2 locations, we will begin to see the true value of AI in the Freshworks suite.Ā
