Apologies if I’m missing something, but I have searched and cannot find an answer.

We have two workspaces in Freshservice - Facilities and IT. An ‘Agent’ in the Facilities workspace submitted an IT ticket but cannot view that ticket in the ticket portal because she’s an “agent” on the Facilities side. It tells her she doesn’t have access to view the ticket, and it doesn’t default her to the requester ‘portal’ view.

 

Is there a way around this I’m missing?

Yes, this is not you going crazy, I have highlighted in the past to Freshworks on this, hopefully they are working on it. 

they have it right when an agent opens the Requester portal it redirects to the agent portal. however they have not set it up the other way round. if you are an agent who needs to see the requester portal it does not redirect you. 

for now they have to go to the requester portal and then open up there ticket from there….
