Can anyone tell me a reason that an approver would not have the Approve/Reject buttons when they go into the Freshservice item?  It was sent to multiple people with the majority setting. They, however, did not have the buttons even before the majority rule was met.

 

There must be a setting I am missing.  

Nevermind, I think the item was closed before she looked for the approval button.


If approvers in Freshservice don’t see the Approve/Reject buttons, possible reasons include:

  1. Role Permissions – The user may not have the correct role or permission to approve.

  2. Not an Assigned Approver – They may not be listed as an actual approver on the ticket.

  3. Approval Workflow Issue – The workflow might be misconfigured, especially with "Majority" settings.

  4. Ticket Already Approved/Rejected – Buttons disappear once an action is taken.

  5. UI/Browser Issue – Try a different browser or clear cache.

Double-check the approval setup and role permissions in the workflow.
