Hello,

 

Is there a way to automatically add an entry time when a ticket is created in freshservice? Any app or configuration would be useful.

We have just the app for you. It’s called the ‘Auto Timer’ which you can install and configure under Admin -> Apps. You can choose the start ticket statuses for which the timer should start and the stop ticket statuses for which the timer should stop. You can also select if the time entry should be Billable or not.  (Note: Timer will be stopped automatically for the status - Closed and Resolved).

the auto timer app does not do what I was asking for. I needed something to add time when the ticket is raised, not when an agent opens the ticket.

Support told me the only way is to develop something on my own.


Hi @hseron , Created time of the ticket is automatically captured. This will also be available for you in your reports and you could pull a column having the created date/time of each ticket. Let me know if this helps.
