Hello everyone,

I have some questions about Dashboards in Freshservice that perhaps the more seasoned people can hopefully answer (I tried finding this information in available documentation but could not find it).

  1. Can the default pre-defined-layout of the ‘My Dashboard’ that an Agent is presented with when they sign in for the first time be changed?
  2. How does the 20 dashboard limit work exactly? (Is the 20 dashboard limit Global, per Workspace, per Agent group, per Agent or something else)
  3. What are good creative ways of working around the 20 dashboard limit?

Through trial and error I think we came to the conclusion that the 20-dashboard limit is now, at least, no longer global across all users but is per-user.  Yay!  (Note: this is in the Enterprise tier)

 

Example: my count of 20 is available despite me having access to pretty much all the dashboards I could want for the time being

My colleagues who created these and shared them with others have consumed a few of their ‘credits’ (I suppose we can call them that).

 

In summary: the limit is per-user across all Workspaces.
