Need a bit of help in understanding how can i migrate freshservice tickets from an US to EU instance.

To migrate freshservice tickets from an US to EU instance, you can follow these steps:

  1. Create a backup of your US instance.
  2. Export the tickets from your US instance. You can do this by going to Admin > Tickets and selecting the tickets you want to export. Then, click the Export button and select the CSV format.
  3. Import the tickets into your EU instance. You can do this by going to Admin > Tickets and clicking the Import button. Then, select the CSV file containing the tickets you want to import and click the Import button.
  4. Verify that the tickets were imported correctly. You can do this by going to Admin > Tickets and reviewing the list of tickets.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind when migrating freshservice tickets:

  • Make sure that the two instances have the same custom fields. If not, you will need to create the custom fields on the EU instance before importing the tickets.
  • Make sure that the two instances have the same users. If not, you will need to create the users on the EU instance before importing the tickets.
  • If you are importing a large number of tickets, it may take some time for the import to complete.
  • Once the import is complete, you may need to update the status of some tickets. For example, if a ticket is in the "In Progress" status on the US instance, you may need to update it to the "New" status on the EU instance.
