Few Things about Me:
I’m a Solution Architect for the Freshservice Professional Services Team and I have been implementing Freshservice close to a Decade almost from the inception of the Product itself.
Key Takeaways:
1. If you are not using Change Management in Freshservice , this workshop will help you understand what the product can do and what will you need to setup it up.
2. If you are already using Change Management in Freshservice, this workshop will be a good refresher and you will learn some common use cases and recommendations that we have implemented for customers.
As a Pre-read , I have attached our standard recommended change Lifecycle for the default type of Changes and why will you need to have change management in your company.
Looking forward seeing you all
If you missed this you missed a great seminar! Thank you, Dominic, for all of the valuable information and for staying late to ensure that everyone had their questions answered.
Looking forward to a Part 2!
Top shelf work! Thanks again,
Scott

@zachary.king @SW-Scott @ewong @eeha0120 @Dejano
Building and customizing Reports and fully using Analytics, please.
Also, best use of Product Catalog and tying it in with Requests and Service Catalog.
I would love to have a session around problem management, release management, workspaces best practices, and analytics.
Thanks for starting this thread! I’ve recently started exploring the Change Management module in Freshservice and I’m curious how others are handling approvals and workflows, especially for emergency changes. Also, does anyone have tips on getting end-users more engaged with the process? Looking forward to learning from everyone’s experiences.
This sounds interesting! I've been trying to get a better grasp on change management in Freshservice, especially when it comes to customizing workflows for different types of changes. Looking forward to learning from others here. Has anyone tried automating approval steps based on change categories?
@amelia5d3 here is the link to the webinar
Dominic specifically focused on handling approvals and provided a GREAT PDF that might help you. So you don’t have to hunt it down in the thread, I’ve attached it here as well.
The Webinar is ling but it was well worth the time for me and my team.
Take care,
Scott

That is great news! I don’t have specific questions since we haven’t implemented the Change Management module yet but I’m positive that it will be well delivered and I’m looking forward to joining in!

Hello @Kamakshi V,
I would love to see more information around risk assessments for changes. As well as, information regarding the use of maintenance windows and the status page. Could there be talk about how to leverage the change calendar (it is not very intuitive in the product at the moment), and what might be potentially coming down the pipeline for enhancements to the Change Management module?
Around change management in general, I would appreciate discussion on how organizations define what requires a change request, what could be considered a service request, and how to manage that distinction.
Lastly, the topic of Change Advisory Boards and the CAB meeting would make for great discussion as well!
Look forward to the session!
