Outbound call using other softphone with Fresh Service Contact?
Hello World
I’m trying to get FS to work in Chrome with my non-Fresh Caller softphone (Bria).
I have added the phone number into FS as below and I have set all the Default app protocols to use Bria.
Does anyone know how to make FS permit the outbound dial with another softphone? Calling @rashmi.nag or @zachary.king or @manns or anyone - any help is very much appreciated! :-)
Thanks!

Bump!
Any guidance on how to get our new softphone (Bria app) to understand the phone numbers that are being displayed on the webpage?
What kind of changes can I make in FS so Bria (softphone app) will recognize a phone number like Google page does?
Is there a Marketplace app for this? Can I do this with Business rules for forms somehow?

Any suggestions welcome!
TY!
OMG - I got it to work! Sort of.
I was able to edit the html right on the ticket page with this code and it triggered the Bria app to see it as a dialable number.
<a href=”tel:++12223334444”>1-222-333-4444
</a>
So, anyone know how to mod a FS ticket page permanently?
hmm post just got killed
presumably bc I included html - here it again without the actual code
Anyone know how to permanently mod the FS ticket pages with this code to enable ANY softphone to recognize a phone number?
@rhea.desouza@rashmi.nag@alyssia.correa@Isaac Thomas who would know this please?
@Ammar KB@rajagopal.baladhandayutham - Can you please help Bryn with her query?
Could I create a custom field that wraps the phone number with this html code ?
Would Liquid Filters or some other workflow be able to do this?
OMG - I’m onto something!!!!!
Create Solution Article and insert the code for dialing with the softphone app and it is a bloody clickable link that does, in fact, launch the app when the solution is inserted into a Note
Just have to see if I can get parameterization to work so it pulls the phone from the Requester and/or Company
None of the fields seemed to want to accept the html - presumably that’s by design to protect the FS DB.
y’know I’m pretty tired of this lie
Any time a post gets killed it never reappears
So must recreate my previous post - how annoying.
I’m onto something - I created a Solution Article where I edited the code directly and then inserted it into a note on the ticket and this is a clickable link that launches the Bria softphone app.
However I did find that none of the fields seemed to accept the h t m 1 code to create a clickable field on Requester, Company or Ticket
