Sorted By defaults to Relevance and should be by Date Created

Agreed. I do not know what algorithm they use to decide what is «relevant», but I have yet to get what I am looking for listed among those results. Sorting by Date Created (descending) would be appropriate in most cases, and there should at least be a way to make the chosen sort order sticky.

I would be curious if anyone gets “relevant” information when it is sorted by relevance as my company has to manually change it every time.

Hope you both are doing well,

I hope you are discussing about the Ticket List view Sort by function, This is by default set to “Date Created - Descending”, In case you want to change it, You may create a Custom List view and save the view so that when you’re selecting the view it is automatically in the applied Sort by condition you want it to be.

​But, I’m afraid when logging in, The Default view(New and Open Tickets) would open and you would have to manually change the Ticket List view.

If you have any more ideas, Could you please share this in this section so we can get your use-case and update our product team on it.

For Clarification i am referring to any time I do a search. If I type something in the search box and hit enter it will take me to a list and it says
 

 This has NEVER given me what I needed. Each and Every time I have to go up and change to the Tickets and Sorted by to Created Date. 

Maybe we just need to have an option to choose what our search defaults to. 
Default to : All Results, Tickets, Problems, Changes…..
Why can I not just go to the area I want and do a search. If I am in Changes why can it not just search changes? If I am in tickets, why can it not just search within tickets? if I want EVERYTHING then give me a drop down or check box to search Everything but do not use that as the default.

I started another thread without seeing this one. How come to-do lists can't be reordered? Our company has acquired this tool but in my department it is not feasible to use the projects part. It's not that it's basic, it's that any free cloud software has more features.
